How much air should be used to inflate the top ring? (References Easy Set™ and Ellipse™ Pools only) Inflate until the top ring becomes round in shape and firm to the touch. An over inflated ring heated by the sun may burst or lead to leaks in the seam.
What sizes are available? We distribute 8', 10', 12', 15', 18', 20', 24' and 32' pool sizes.
Can I set the pool up on a concrete patio? Yes, but a ground cloth is highly recommended. Do not drag the liner across the concrete, as abrasions will cause holes. The surface must be smooth, level, and stable.
What other surfaces can be safely used to set up my Intex Easy Set Pool? Easy Set™, Ellipse™ and Frame Set™ Pools can be set up on grass, compacted dirt, or pavement that is completely smooth, level, and stable. A ground cloth or tarp is recommended. The pool should NOT be set up on sand or muddy ground that could possibly shift. It is also NOT recommended to be set up on wooden decks.
What is the steepest slope that I am able to set up my pool on? For best results the surface should be perfectly level. Pay close attention to the pool's stability and levelness in the early stages of filling. If after about an inch of water has accumulated, and the water is not spreading out evenly, or the pool appears to be bulging to one side, stop filling the pool, drain the water, and select a new level site. If the pool is set up on a slope, the pool will be lopsided and could collapse.
How do I drain the pool? Remove the cap from the drain valve on the outside of the pool wall. Attach the female end of the hose to the hose adapter. Place the other end of the hose in an area where the water can be safely drained. Screw the hose adapter to the drain valve. Note: water will start to drain immediately. Disconnect the hose adapter when finished. Replace the drain plug on the inside of the pool for storage. Replace the drain cap on the outside of the pool. Be sure the pool liner is completely dry before long term storage.
What would cause the Pool to be lopsided? The base or bottom of the pool is not laid out flat (without wrinkles). The pool liner must extend evenly around the outside of the inflatable ring (for Easy Set™ and Ellipse™ Pools) when the pool is filled with water, otherwise the ground is not 100% level.
How high can I fill the pool? To the bottom of the inflatable ring or to the bottom of the frame rail. Do Not Overfill. This may cause the pool walls to become unstable and possibly result in injury or property damage from the water flowing over the pool while in use.
Approximately how many gallons of water does the pool hold? When filled to 80% water capacity, as recommended, the pool depth is approximately:8'x27" = 523 gallons
8'x30" = 568 gallons
10'x30" = 915 gallons
12'x30" = 1,353 gallons
12'x36" = 1,722 gallons
15'x33" = 2,442 gallons
15'x36" = 2,561 gallons
15'x42" = 3,110 gallons
16'x42" = 3,896 gallons
18'x42" = 4,814 gallons
18'x48" = 5,593 gallons
20'x12'x48" = 4,313 gallons
24'x48" = 9,951 gallons
24'x12'x48" = 5,414 gallons
32'x12'x48" = 7,617 gallons
40'x12'x48" = 9,819 gallons
