i was the owner of an intex blow up ring pool wasnt real happy cause of it collapsing frequently so we bought the 18 ft metal frame pool and am completely satisfied with it and probably next year we will buy the 24 ft it is so easy to maintain and the key to setting the pool up is make sure your ground is not wet or real loose if it is you need to fill it in with some top soil
I am COMPLETELY NOT HAPPY with this pool right now!!..We were sooo excited to put it up! We thought this is gonna be way better then the blow up pools because the pvc pipes will make it alot sturdier and we will not have to worry about the pool colapsing..Well, I DIDN'T think we were gonna have to worry about the PVC pipes dinging into the GROUND!!!..So I though "its ok, we will just drain it & put sand down to level it out"..$175 later (including the tamper) o I forgot the Water bill that I will receive for filling the pool 2xs!! it will be an add"l I dunno...$200 so at this point we are at like $700+ dollars and we were just splurging a little with getting the 18' pool. So at this point after it took 3days to level the sand the pool is up & level on all sides but 1 & the pvc pipes are sinking into the ground. We put a tarp under the pool n pipes & its STILL NOT WORKING!!!!!...My boyfriend is probably ready to take a sledgehammer to it!!!..Not including the chemicals that have been wasted to!!!....Im ready to take the pool down & back to the store I got it!!!..I just might depending how It looks when I get home..since it got done filling up this morning & it was already sinking into the ground!!!!!..I am soooo UPSET about THIS POOL!!!!!!
